So the first time you move to a shop ~25 mins into the game you are greeted to this ridiculous array of weapons and suits, including weapons and advanced suits you're not supposed to be able to acquire until mid or late game. Containers and crates may not be interactable. The first door after getting the Plasma Cutter may be impassable. If frame rate is too high, the game will slow down. One downside with this fix is that the mouse cursor will move very fast in the game's menus. This will fix the other problems with the mouse controls: the acceleration, deadzone and low sensitivity. ![]() ![]() Can introduce desyncing issues with extremely high framerates (300+ FPS). Next, you will have to find and edit the game's configuration file. There's no in-game way to disable this, and Steam reports there are no DLC packs enabled, it's just part of the core game now. Mouse input has issues when running over 60 FPS. The real kicker is that they released some kind of update after launch whereby they gave you all these DLC items. The mouse feels terrible, the acceleration and such is pretty bad, which requires a 3rd party fix to correct unless you just want to use the gamepad.Using 3rd party programs to cap the framerate without v-sync works, but the game stutters like a motherfucker with frametime spikes up to 100ms in some cases.It still looks ok, but after reinstalling it today and firing it up I've discovered the following shitshow: My memory of playing DS2 on PC at launch is that it seemed to look and run well. ![]()
